Swami India Ghana Ltd has been named winner of the Real Estate Company of the Year (Luxury) category at the 2023 National Customers' Choice Awards Ghana (NCCAG), presented for our work on the Solaris Apartments development in Osu.
The recognition follows a year in which SIGL was also inducted into the GIPC Ghana Club 100 — ranked 57th among Ghana's top-performing companies in its 20th edition — and received the GREDA Awards 2022 honor for Best in Apartments (High End) at the 35th GREDA Anniversary & Awards. Three major industry honors within two years is not something we take lightly, and it says as much about our process as it does about any single building.
Award juries for the National Customers' Choice Awards evaluate service quality, build standards, and customer satisfaction across Ghana's real estate sector. Being recognized in the luxury category specifically reflects the finish quality and amenity standard delivered at Solaris — from its 3-tier security and fibre internet to its rooftop bar/lounge and business center, through to the small details residents notice daily: reliable 24/7 water supply, well-maintained elevators, and a spa and cafeteria that make the building feel more like a serviced residence than a standard apartment block.
None of that happens by accident. Since incorporating in Ghana in 2013, we've built our business around keeping land acquisition, architectural design, civil engineering, and construction under one roof rather than outsourcing each stage to a different contractor. That structure is slower to set up than a typical developer-plus-subcontractors model, but it means the same team that signs off on a design is accountable for how it's actually built — which is exactly the kind of continuity award juries and buyers alike are evaluating when they talk about 'build standards.'
It's also why we publish periodic construction updates for every development still underway, rather than only communicating at launch and handover. Solarium, Springfield Estate, Serenity Estate, and Celestia Residence are all in active construction phases right now, and our sales team fields the same questions on every one of them: is the land properly documented, is the developer registered, and will the building match what was promised. Being a registered member of GREDA, GIPC, and NCCAG doesn't answer those questions on its own, but it does mean our documentation, land ownership, and customer-service practices are subject to outside scrutiny — not just our own internal sign-off.

Recognition like the NCCAG 2023 award is also a useful checkpoint for us internally. It's easy for a construction and development company to measure success purely in units sold or square meters built; an award built around customer satisfaction forces a different kind of accounting, one closer to how a resident actually experiences the building years after handover.
These recognitions reflect the standards we hold ourselves to across every development, from Paradise Estate and Solaris Apartments through to the ongoing Solarium, Springfield Estate, Serenity Estate, and Celestia Residence projects. We see each award as a benchmark to build on rather than a finish line, and we'll keep publishing the progress, documentation, and milestones that got us here as each of our current developments moves toward handover.
